Sheepskin Collar- Icelandic x Finnsheep

This smaller more petite and less assuming collar was crafted from an the bark tanned hide of Icelandic and Finn sheep cross. Both these primitive/ old world breeds are renowned for having high quality wool and unique coloring. The fleece starts darker amber at the base fading to a natural bleached tip on the end. 
 
This sheepskin was tanned and crafted on farm by Carissa, the shepherd, using an all natural bark tanning process. Bark tanned hides are soft, durable, washable, and made with nothing but bark tannin, spring water, oil, eggs, sea salt, and organic citric acid.
